I love when it rains... Sure the kids end up all cooped up inside and they get a little stir crazy, but we get by...
There's something that seems so cleansing about the rain. The way the air smells, the way everything around you feels outside... Throw in a little bit of thunder and lightening? Yeehaw! I'm in!
We're supposed to be getting rain soon. I've got movies and popcorn, boardgames and projects for the kids ready to go. We'll end up watching the rain from a window and see how many analogies about rain we can make up... Then we'll move on from there... It's a day when the kids don't scatter in four different directions and I can be a little selfish with my time with them. It rocks out loud!
