I'm patiently waiting for some hunting noms from Lucky's dad. (Um... Hint, HINT, NUDGE, SHOVE, WINK, KICK!) I had an idea... Last year I did a bit of a test run. Pan seared venison medallions with onions and roasted garlic, veggies and sauteed baby portabella mushrooms (in butter, duh!), all braised in a fruity red wine, then topped with asiago cheese.
It was yummy. I want to give it another go, but tweak what I did a little with a couple of things I picked up from watching food porn... I'll let you know how it turns out.
