Stand up and say something!

I've met a couple of people who are just so damn timid and silent they almost seem like non-starters and it kinda drives me nuts.
You've got all sorts of people who won't shut up and are constantly yapping away (loudly and mistakenly) about all sorts of stuff, especially about other people. They go on and on about the flaws of other people but if they were turn turn the critical eye on themselves... Well, they're just too fuckin' self righteous to see themselves as anything other than perfect and without fault, despite the fact that they are idiotic, fat, lazy, nobody really likes them and rolls their eyes behind their backs at every opportunity. They wouldn't notice anyway since the high horse that their riding on come with blinders and ear plugs...
Then you have the opposite extreme. The ones who let themselves get trampled on and sit and take it. Then they complain later on when nothing can be done or the whole situation is long forgotten and piss and moan about what they should've said or done in the situation that has long since passed. Grrr... I'm really not too sure which extreme makes me pissier.
On the one hand you've go an individual whom, well, for all intents and purposes, you want them to shut the fuck up already! It is annoying and distracting because they don't shut up and despite the fact that you can tell them 100 different ways, a hundred different times that you don't care and don't want to hear it, they're going on anyway. On the other, sitting and watching the "silent ones" putting up with the whatever and you can see that they want to say something... The eye is twitching, the forehead vein is throbbing, you can hear the grinding of teeth... It looks like you might need a mop because gray matter is going to start leaking and then KABLAM! It's everywhere...
I say, "Speak up!" Just say it. BRING IT! Make the words as sweet as the situation calls for in the case you might have to eat the words later, but just say it. There's no helping the brain constipated, verbal diarrhea-ists. (Well, except for duct tape...) They're never going to shut up. In fact they're still going on and on right now... I'm just not listening...
